Improved Pig Housing Environment

Trials have shown that SlurryKing Pigs reduces emissions of ammonia and other odour compounds, improving the pig housing environment. The effect of Slurry King was trialled on odour emissions in an intensive pig finishing unit. Results showed:

  • Odour emissions (units) decreased by 53%
  • Odour emissions per kg pig liveweight decreased by 55%

Improved Organic Fertiliser Value

SlurryKing Pigs also boosts the organic fertiliser value of slurry: ammonia capture makes ammonia-N is more readily available to the crop. The effect of SlurryKing on total-N content and ammonia-N retention of pig slurry in intensive systems:
